Henley House provides a throughput service for children and young people with moderate to severe learning difficulties, ASD and associated challenges. It has been purpose built to provide specialist accommodation for children and young people with moderate to severe learning difficulties, Autism, ADHD and associated behavioural challenges, children accommodated at the home may also present with sensory impairment, physical disabilities and sexualised behaviours or equally, with complex health care needs.
The aim is to work with children and young people to support them in all aspects of their care, education and health, working towards agreed targets which are set to focus the personal development of children in areas which present barriers.
Henley House location features:

- 4 Single en-suite bedrooms
- Bedrooms are based on the ground floor and fully accessible
- Set in a lovely residential area near Henley College and University Hospital
Registered Manager Sarah Hammond has worked in the care sector in England for 29 years. She has worked for a Local Authority in residential settings, mainly working with young people with challenging behaviours for much of this time. Sarah has been a Registered Manager for 15 of those years.
Sarah has a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services and NVQ 4 Managers in Residential Childcare and a Canadian qualification that has been given NVQ 4 status by UK Naric.
